US - I.F.F. YACHT RACING ASSOCIATION
There is an informal family regatta of FF's held at the end of August each year in
Flander's Bay off the coast of Maine.
There are eleven FF's owned by members of a large extended family. Usually six or seven
will participate in the family race of a total of six daily races that are held over a
weekend. The boats are a mix of very early, primarily wood, models (heavy and slower) to
refurbished 2000 FFs (faster) shipped from England more recently.
