For those interested in Class History we have received a copy of the Programme for the 1956 UK Nationals held at Strangford Lough Yacht Club. Amazingly they had 40 entries including the late H.R.H. Prince Philip sailing with Uffa.
Things were somewhat different in those days with a 5 hour time limit per race and a choice of 14 courses - some with marks to Starboard (that must have been interesting!)
Thanks to Patricia Naylor for sharing this item of memorabilia, several members of her family participated in the event including her father Leo Hughes who it is believed crewed his nephew Raymond Gilmore.
