This year the fleet returned to the world championship course off Lamma for the first time for 3 years. Twelve boats participated in the 2022 Flying Fifteen Class Championship, regulars and newcomers alike.
8th - 9th October on the Plate Taille Lake
The Belgian Flying Fifteen Championship took place on the weekend of 8 - 9 October at SNEH on the Plate Taille Lake. The participants were graced with magnificent conditions with generous sunshine during the whole weekend and a wind ranging from 5 to 14 knots from the Northwest on Saturday and from the Southeast on Sunday.

Andy Mckee and Richard Jones are worthy new 2022 European Champions.
The 75th Anniversary Flying Fifteen European Championship came to a fitting close on another semi-overcast but warm, humid (for the Solent!) day.
Day 3 report
A two race day was delayed for a couple of hours waiting for the wind to settle and the tide to go slack.

The Flying Fifteen International 75th Anniversary Race took place as a separate event during the class European Championship hosted by Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club around the cans of the Solent.
