First Flying 15 Regatta Sailed on Canadian Waters

5 - 7 June, 2026 Saltspring Island, Canada

The Flying 15 Canada first international Flying Fifteen Regatta brought together sailors from across British Columbia and beyond for three days of racing and camaraderie. Seven races were completed over the course of the regatta, with Adam and Anne Semple from Perth, Australia, Chris and Allison Howell from Newport Australia, Howard Williams from Hong Kong, and Robert Weyman from USA, joining local competitors on the waters off Saltspring Island.

October 11th & 12th

The Belgian Flying Fifteen Championship 2025 took place on October 11th and 12th.
This year was marked by the return of participants from England, including Nick and Catherine Heath (GBR3692 Cambridge SC), regulars at our Championship, as well as two new crews: Duncan MATTHEW and John CHALKER (GBR3844 Aldeburgh YC), and Richard HOPE and Jeremy ARNOLD (GBR4044 Draycote Water SC).

Six is the magic number for Vials and Turner - Graham Vials and Chris Turner started the day on the cusp of winning an unprecedented sixth Flying Fifteen World Championship, headline sponsored by PRO-SET Epoxy and Ovington Boats, requiring a result in the top five of either of the final races, while Andrew McKee and Richard Jones, the only team who could cause an upset, required nothing less than two race wins.
