The Club de Mar–Mallorca will host the next European Championship in the Flying Fifteen International class, which will take place from October 6 to 11, 2026. The event is expected to bring together around fifty boats with crews arriving from different countries across the continent.
World Sailing and the International Flying Fifteen Class Association have confirmed the Mallorcan club’s bid to host next year’s European Championship in this class. The commodore of Club de Mar–Mallorca, Manuel Nadal de Uhler, expressed the organization’s satisfaction at hosting the event, emphasizing that this is the first time the club has organized a European Championship. “We are strengthening our activity in the sailing section, and this international competition will represent a major boost,” he stated.
The Flying Fifteen International European Championship is held every two years, and Mallorca will take over from the French town of Morgat, where the British sailors Ian Pinnell and Ian Cadwallader were crowned champions.
The CDM indicated that the draft version of the NoR will be ready 6 months prior to the event.
